Plasticizers are additives that improve the flexibility of polymer materials. They reduce hardness by embedding into polymer chains, and are widely used in fields such as plastics, rubber, and coatings to enhance the processability and performance of products.

II. Key Features

  • Efficient toughening: Lower the glass transition temperature of materials, improving flexibility and ductility.
  • Good compatibility: Mix stably with substrates like PVC and rubber, not easy to precipitate.
  • Excellent weather resistance: Some types resist high and low temperatures (-50℃ to 120℃) and aging.

III. Common Specifications

  • Appearance: Colorless/light yellow liquid, purity ≥99%, viscosity 50-500cP (25℃).
  • Volatile content: ≤0.5%, acid value ≤0.1mgKOH/g, flash point ≥180℃.
  • Environmental protection: Meet RoHS and REACH standards, free of phthalates (some types).

IV. Typical Applications

PVC pipes/films, softening of artificial leather, toughening of rubber products, processing of cable insulation layers.
