Fluorescent Pigments

Fluorescent Pigments

I. Product Overview

Fluorescent pigments are a type of colorant that can absorb visible light and emit higher-intensity fluorescence. Mostly organic synthetic pigments, they present bright and vivid colors through light conversion. Suitable for fields such as inks, coatings, and plastics, they enhance the visual recognition of products.

II. Key Features

  • High color rendering: High color saturation, brighter than ordinary pigments, with a prominent visual effect under light irradiation.
  • Light resistance: Some models have a lightfastness rating of ≥5, with stable color in indoor environments (ultraviolet absorbers required for outdoor use).
  • Good compatibility: Easily dispersible in various substrates without affecting their processing performance, and non-migratory.

III. Common Specifications

  • Appearance: Powder/granular, particle size 5-50μm, hue covers red, yellow, green, orange, etc. (can be mixed).
  • Heat resistance: Temperature resistance 80-200℃ (depending on the model), with good solvent resistance.
  • Purity: Tinting strength ≥95%, moisture content ≤1.0%, pH value 6-8.

IV. Typical Applications

Warning sign inks, advertising coatings, coloring of toy plastics, printing on safety clothing, and fluorescent pen inks.
