I. Product Overview

PU & PVC Base refers to polyurethane (PU) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) substrates, which are two types of commonly used polymer base materials. They have good plasticity and durability, and are widely used as composite material bases or raw materials for independent products in fields such as shoe materials, bags, and furniture.

II. Key Features

  • PU Base: Good flexibility, wear-resistant and fold-resistant, 手感 close to natural materials, and excellent air permeability.
  • PVC Base: Adjustable hardness, resistant to acid and alkali corrosion, low cost, and strong waterproofness.
  • Common features: Easy to process (cutting, laminating, printing) and good dimensional stability.

III. Common Specifications

  • Thickness: 0.3-5mm (customizable), width 600-1500mm.
  • Density: PU 0.8-1.2g/cm³; PVC 1.2-1.5g/cm³.
  • Colors: Transparent, white, black and custom colors; surface can be matte/glossy treated.

IV. Typical Applications

PU Base: Midsole of high-end shoe materials, leather base cloth, furniture decoration layer;
PVC Base: Waterproof bag fabric, floor substrate, industrial protective cover.
