Glass fiber Nonwoven

I. Product Overview

Glass fiber nonwoven is made from glass fibers through non-woven processes such as needle-punching and bonding. It features high temperature resistance and insulation, serving as a commonly used functional substrate in industrial fields.

II. Key Features

  • High temperature resistance: Withstands 200-600℃ (depending on type) and is non-flammable.
  • Excellent insulation: Good electrical insulation performance, suitable for electrical applications.
  • Chemical corrosion resistance: Resistant to acids, alkalis and aging, with strong environmental adaptability.

III. Common Specifications

  • Raw materials: Alkali-free glass fiber (mainstream), medium-alkali glass fiber.
  • Weight: 50-600g/m² (lightweight for filtration, heavyweight for heat insulation).
  • Thickness: 0.1-5mm, positively correlated with weight.
  • Width: 100-200cm, customizable.
  • Treatment methods: Can be coated with glue or impregnated with resin to enhance strength.

IV. Typical Applications

  • Industrial use: Pipeline insulation layers, fireproof partitions, filter materials.
  • Electrical field: Motor insulation layers, cable wrapping cloth.
  • Construction field: Fireproof cloth, wall reinforcement substrates.
