Warp Knitted Fabric

I. Product Overview

Warp knitted fabric is a type of fabric formed by multiple yarns being knitted simultaneously along the longitudinal (warp) direction of the fabric, with loops interlocking lengthwise. It is mainly made from raw materials such as polyester, nylon, and spandex, featuring a stable structure and being a knitted category with both elasticity and strength.

II. Key Features

  • High longitudinal strength, moderate transverse elasticity: It has high tensile strength in the longitudinal direction and certain elasticity in the transverse direction, with better dimensional stability than weft knitted fabrics.
  • Compact structure: The fabric surface is flat, not easy to curl, and has good anti-pilling performance.
  • Wide adaptability: Various textures can be formed through different comb combinations, compatible with functional fibers.

III. Common Specifications

  • Raw materials: Polyester (mainstream), nylon, spandex blends (e.g., 90% polyester + 10% spandex).
  • Yarn count: 20D-150D (fine denier filaments for light fabrics, thick denier filaments for heavy fabrics).
  • Weight: 50-400g/m² (lightweight for underwear, heavyweight for outdoor fabrics).
  • Structure: Tricot, satin, jacquard, etc. (affecting breathability and elasticity).
  • Width: 150-300cm, customizable.

IV. Typical Applications

  • Clothing: Sportswear, swimwear, underwear fabrics.
  • Industrial use: Tent cloth, curtains, filter materials.
  • Home use: Sofa fabrics, decorative cloths, etc.
