I. Product Overview

PU resins, or polyurethane resins, are made from the reaction of isocyanates and polyols. Available in solvent-based, water-based and other types, they feature good flexibility and adhesion, and are commonly used in coatings, adhesives and other fields.

II. Key Features

  • Adjustable performance: Hardness (Shore A 30-90) and elasticity can be adjusted via formulations to meet diverse needs.
  • Strong adhesion: Firmly bonds with substrates such as leather, fabrics and metals.
  • Good weather resistance: Anti-aging, resistant to high and low temperatures, with strong environmental adaptability.

III. Common Specifications

  • Types: Solvent-based (fast-drying, suitable for industrial coatings), water-based (environmentally friendly, used for fabric treatment).
  • Solid content: 30%-70% (40%-60% for coatings, 50%-70% for adhesives).
  • Viscosity: 500-5000mPa・s (adjusted according to application methods such as spraying, scratching and coating).
  • Storage period: 6-12 months (sealed and protected from light, below 25℃).

IV. Typical Applications

  • Leather finishing (shoe uppers, luggage leather), fabric coating (waterproof fabrics).
  • Adhesives (shoe material lamination, automotive interior bonding).
  • Coatings (furniture paint, industrial protective coatings)
